An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our small team as an Administrator at The Advanced Healthcare Centre based in The Old Cereal Factory on Poundbury, Dorchester.

The usual hours of work will be part time between Monday to Friday however you may be required to cover the occasional evening or Saturday clinic.

We offer a starting salary of up to £13.00 per hour with the opportunity for promotion.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- To act in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner promoting our values, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.
- To provide secretarial support to the team.
- To answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- To take, produce and distribute minutes as and when required.
- To process incoming and outgoing mail. To ensure that outgoing mail is despatched using the appropriate mailing service, including SystmOne.
- To ensure that information is recorded and stored appropriately.
- To order and maintain adequate supplies of consumables.
- To support colleagues, providing cover during staff absences.
- To use and maintain all equipment in line with company policy
- To update social media accounts
- To attend staff meetings, and carry out other delegated duties considered appropriate to the post as agreed with the Operations Manager.
- To complete necessary training specific to job role.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Experience of working with computer systems, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) in a working/academic environment
- Time Management and the ability to work to deadlines without supervision
- Problem solving skills
- Minute taking
- Experience with social media

- Ability to deal with service users in a professional and considerate manner
