This is a hybrid position, working one week three days in the office and the following week twos days. These are to be agreed by the person they are supporting.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The purpose of the role is to provide non-technical support to the Resident Safety (Contracts & Compliance Team) in pursuance of providing a safer more comfortable places for our resident to live.

To provide Contract Management support on several contracts such as health and safety compliance in relation to lift servicing, gas servicing, water hygiene, electrical servicing, asbestos and commercial HRA compliance so that organisational expectations are met.

To ensure the loading of compliance certificates, surveys, insurance reports etc onto the asset database, Keystone.

To co-ordinate forced entry action to execute Right of Entry warrant. Liaising with Neighbourhood Management, gas contractors, locksmith, police, social services and stakeholders. (As required)

**DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**:
In this role, you will be working within the Resident Safety Team providing non-technical support. Part of the role will be to assist in implementing and maintaining the quality management system as well as supporting several contracts.

Quality management audits, assigning work, monitoring service level agreement performance, ensuring that the team respond to customer complaints adequately, recording customer satisfaction, assisting with the management of work programmes and performance, completing work orders and contractor invoices.

The team also manage several Mechanical & Electrical programmes for over 6000 buildings, which necessitates good project management, including the ability to manage large quantities of data resulting from reports, such as the reports themselves and arising action plans. Assignment of works, reporting on progress, monitoring and recording of data, and managing the associated database, processing invoices which will all form part of the work.

Given the dynamic nature of RBKC at present, and the number and level of stakeholders, you will need to be able to adapt quickly to change, work to demanding deadlines and have good negotiation skills to be able to influence other departments across the Borough.

You will be required to work within the Resident Safety team and provide support as required to ensure we continue to maintain and exceed Key Performance Indicators within Kensington and Chelsea one that others look to emulate.

This is a challenging role in which you will be very busy, although you will be working with a team who are all new and committed to the highest level of service delivery, and this represents an excellent chance to be involved in an exciting level of change within a developing organisation and department.

**Skills**

Ability to communicate effectively with internal/External people at all levels, with excellent written communication skills ability to work independently using own initiative, with strong influencing skills.

Attention to detail and able to see tasks through to completion.

Ability to input data accurately onto computerised databases able to build effective working relationships with a range of staff, managers and customers.
