Senior Planning Officer - Wirral Council

We are looking for **Senior Planning Officer **will be based at:
**We are currently working with Senior Planning Council to help recruit for a Senior Planning Officer,**

3. To assist in the implementation of various planning policies and programmes/initiatives.

5. Liaison with officers of other departments of the Council, other local authorities and outside organisations/bodies.

6. To prepare evidence for planning appeals and attendance, where appropriate, at public enquiries and informal hearings to present the Council’s case.

8. Providing supervision, guidance and assistance in the training, mentoring and development of junior members of staff.

9. Assisting the Development Control Manager with the promotion of Development Control to the customer and public at large.

10. To assist in the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives and new technology, as required.

11. Attendance, where appropriate, at inter-Authority meetings.

12. To adhere to all Council policy.

13. To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Director of Technical Services in achieving a committed improvement in service delivery and quality outcomes.

14. To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Director of Technical Services which are appropriate to the grade and character of the post.
