**About Europa**

Europa is a well-established player in the electrical wholesale market, known for distributing a comprehensive array of products. As Quality Assistant, you'll conduct thorough product inspections, maintain document control systems, and uphold industry standards like ISO. You'll collaborate with suppliers and our technical team to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and quality expectation.

In return we will offer you a competitive salary from £23,000 per annum dependent upon experience, + companywide bonus scheme, 23 days holiday which increases with service & the option to purchase more, increased pension contribution, BUPA private healthcare with the option to add family members, 3 x life assurance & EAP, free onsite parking useful for travel from Luton Airport.

**Key Responsibilities - Quality Assistant**
- Assist in detailed product inspections alongside the Quality & Compliance Technician.
- Maintain and update document control systems with precision and accuracy.
- Communicate with suppliers to gather product details and report non-compliances.
- Collaborate with the technical department to verify product requirements and address quality issues.
- Identify non-conformances during inspections and recommend improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain records of non-conformances and prepare necessary reports and documentation.

**Skills & Experience requirements -**While experience in quality control is a plus, we value enthusiasm and a can-do attitude above all. Here's what we're looking for:

- Attention to detail with a knack for identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Strong problem-solving skills to tackle quality issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and suppliers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in document control and record management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
