Overview:
**Change Grow Live** are a charity dedicated to the belief that we can make a difference to our Service Users lives, offering support and respect in a safe environment, treating each user as an individual and working with them to find the right treatment and care options.

A fantastic, new opportunity has arisen to become a **Outreach **Recovery Coordinator,** supporting rough sleeping individuals throughout their treatment journey and successfully supporting their move on into suitable housing arrangements. With this role you’ll be working as part of the engagement team, based in Edgware.

**Hours**: 37.5h per week

**Salary**: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 pro rata (depending on experience).

**Allowance**: £2.163.72 Outer London Weighting

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- To engage with a range of individuals who have adopted ‘street-based living’ including rough sleepers and beggars with a view to engaging them in appropriate services and moving them into more settled lifestyles.
- Increase service user choice, service user involvement and empower service users to maintain sustainable change; working collaboratively and pro-actively to ensure that services are fully co-ordinated and are working collectively towards the achievement of goals and positives outcomes for each individual client.
- To build and develop service users’ personal strengths and social networks in the UK and/or in the individual’s country of origin.

**About you**:

- Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field
- The ability to work with confidence and patience with clients unwilling to engage with services and those that exhibit challenging behaviour.
- The ability to work unsociable hours as and when required.
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
- Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
