**The role**

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Support Officer to work as part of a team of changemakers within a knowledgeable, supportive, and collaborative organisation with opportunities for growth and development in the role.

You will support Sniffer by providing administrative and organisational support ensuring the smooth functioning of daily business operations by handling communications, improving systems and ways of working, organising meetings.

The role will contribute to efficient communication and facilitating collaboration across the organisation and will play a vital role in promoting efficient working and supporting the overall success of the charity.

Sniffer is a charity that works together with communities, organisations and places, towards a flourishing and fairer future for all in a changing climate.

**About the job**

The role will include a range of activities and responsibilities and will work closely across our business functions include finance, project management and office / systems management with responsibilities including
- Supporting project management and documentation
- Oversight and administration of Sniffer’s internal processes and systems
- Supporting online and social media communication supporting administration and delivery of events
- Supporting financial management, procurement and GDPR activities
- Supporting efficient management of the office environment

**About you**

We are looking for someone who has a wide range of skills in relation to business support and experience in a professional office environment and who would enjoy working in a collaborative and creative team with a supportive and enabling culture.

Ideally you will have:

- Solid experience of working in a fast-paced team to deliver outcomes
- Experience of working in a project-based environment
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including data manipulation in Excel.
- Experience of using online platforms such as Miro, Slido, Eventbrite, SurveyMonkey, Xero.
- An appropriate business administration or professional level qualification (desirable).
