Purchasing Administrator

R D Johns Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our foodservice purchasing department at our new head office located on the edge of Kingsteignton.
Previous knowledge and experiencing in a purchasing background would be advantageous.
You must have a passion for administration and a keen eye for detail.
The main duties of this role include;
- Ordering of goods for the foodservice division of R D Johns Ltd, using the companies bespoke IT system
- Ensure all stock is booked in correctly, with any discrepancies being raised in a timely manner to the relevant suppliers, with supporting evidence
- Actioning of daily reports and communications to other departments in the business
- Meet key order line cuts offs for certain categories and suppliers
- Work with the buying department on the set up of new lines and collating the correct new product and new supplier information
- Assist in the administration of company stock takes
- Follow company procedures for dealing with product queries, complaints and recalls
- Completion of all administration requirements within the department.
The hours of work for this position are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday's are worked on a department rota of a 2.5 hour shift (approx 8am -10.30am)
