**Compliance Officer - Social Care**

**Reporting To**:Registered Manager**

**Duties and Responsibilities**

You will work alongside the Registered Manager to ensure each area of the business is compliant with CQC requirements.

Conduct regular audits to assess performance, maintain compliance and identify ways of improvement.

Maintain and manage compliance records and manage and oversee the key areas of CQC compliance.

Support business address any concerns with a view of improving service user experience and service delivery.

To support senior leads to ensure monitoring systems are used effectively.

To report any concerns, complaints or safeguarding alerts to the Registered Manager immediately.

Ensure compliance with our policies and procedures and implement new and revised policies and procedures when required.

Ensure all policies are updated in accordance with any changes in legislation or guidance.

Support completion of quality assurance reviews with clients.

To support with the recruitment, selection, and training of all new carers in line with current legislation and best practice.

**Essential**

Have care industry experience.

Proven track record of maintaining and managing compliance records.

A demonstrable understanding of the Health and Social Care Regulated Activities and CQC compliance within the Adult Social Care sector.

Have had previous training in social care.

Have confidence and competence to work well both within a team and alone in ‘sole charge’ of a situation

Be eligible to work in the UK with a clear police or criminal record check

Hold a full valid driving licence.

**Desirable**

Hold an NQV or QCF qualification in Health and Social Care.

**Working Hours**:
8-hour shift - 5 days a week or part time hours (Days to be agree)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
