As a Data Lead you will coordinate, drive and deliver all data relevant deliverables across the assigned Finance Architecture Change & Transformation (FACT) project including but not limited to identifying and defining the data delivery scope & schedule,drive out comprehensive data quality analysis leading to successful quality fixes/enhancements while securing ongoing data quality assurance by designing and implementing step-change data governance concepts.

The role will present the opportunity to drive hands on data improvements while work closely with a wide range of BAU stakeholders, relevant project resources, the wider Finance Transformation Data Service organisation, technology team as well as selectedstakeholders in the GPO and GPPD organisations.

**Your New Role**

Key accountabilities are to drive, lead and manage the data delivery of selected projects across the Finance Architecture, Change and Transformation portfolio supporting the relevant project leads/directors in achieving a successful project implementation,which includes:
Coordinate, drive and deliver all data relevant deliverables across the assigned project in close alignment with the FT Data Service Director
- Establish the project documentation, delivery planning and project management for all project data aspects
- Provide management oversight to the team and day-to-day management to the project assigned data resources, scope and ways of working

Manage the data improvements covering fix backwards (data cleanse) and fix forward (data quality assurance) as required which includes
- Provision of robust data profiling, analysis and reconciliation drawing out the Data Quality challenges and delivery scope
- Design, agreement and delivery of relevant Quality fixes (clearing, cleanse, system enhancements) working closely with the relevant project and BAU teams
- Define and deliver any Data Migration including data transformation demands
- Coordinate source system improvements/fixes
- Design, agree and deliver Transactional and Master Data Process/Governance improvements feeding into standard master data processes (owner, standards, process, auditing)

Provide Data leadership to the broader organisation driving a data quality centric mindset across the stakeholder community
- Secure data delivery progress transparency and confidence with key stakeholders within and outside of the project by designing, establishing and providing comprehensive data KPI reporting
- Closely engage and integrate with relevant stakeholders within and outside of the project including 3rd party partners to secure support and confidence of the data delivery, land process improvement and ongoing data assurance
- Proactively drive the Data Quality agenda across the company utilising a variety of influential and communication channels

**Essential Skills**
- Finance or Accounting Degree
- Experience in managing complex data quality analysis and improvement projects
- Excellent Data Rec & Fix process experience
- Proven strong Project Management skills
- Experience shaping innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organisation
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, with ability to adapt personal style to suit the audience
- Ability to explain complex data context in a concise and easy to understand business language to non-data stakeholders on all levels of the organisation
- Self-driven logical and analytical thinker
