**The Role**:
**Trainee Farming and Commercial Insurance Advisor**

**Full Time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.**
**Permanent Contract**
**Location: Based at the Aberdeen City & Shire agency within Thainstone Centre, Inverurie**

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Aberdeen City and Shire agency for a Trainee Farming and Commercial Insurance advisor.

**About the role**

We are looking for an individual to help grow our insurance business by fulfilling the needs of farming and commercial business clients across the Aberdeen City & Shire region. You will attract clients by articulating the value of NFU Mutual products & services and use this platform to seek out cross-sales & referral opportunities.

**About you**

We are looking for someone who will take a lead in supporting the business as it continues its journey. It will be challenging and varied - if you are looking for an opportunity to develop and grow, we’d love to hear from you
- An ability to learn and pick up knowledge quickly and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills, with demonstrable experience
- A professional manner over the phone and face to face
- A proactive and confident approach with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and self-manage
- Good IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent team working skills, flexibility to multi-task and support colleagues where necessary
- A Full UK driving licence (preferred)
