About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team in a 4 FTE Farm and Equine role within a busy mixed practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farm and equine veterinary medicine, with experience working with proactive clients and staff management. Training and support will be provided by senior team members to ensure a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver proactive service to farm and equine clients, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and building strong relationships.
  • Contribute to the Out-of-Hours (OOH) rota, currently set at a 1:5 basis, and play a key role in evolving it to maintain ideal working conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a comprehensive service to clients, including routine and emergency care.
