Working in a fast-paced and changing environment, you will be an integral part of a friendly and supportive team that supports academic and professional services colleagues. The role involves:

- Undertaking financial processes within the Faculty, ensuring full compliance with University and Statutory regulations
- Guiding and advising staff on financial regulations and procedures
- Supporting the processing of Visiting Lecturer contracts and claims for payment
- Assessing student excess travel claims and processing for payment
- Supporting colleagues manage and monitor Faculty budgets
- Co-ordinating staff travel arrangements, ensuring completion of appropriate risk assessments and financial approvals

**The Finance Administrator role is ideal for someone who**:

- Has relevant finance administration skills and experience
- Is proficient in the use of office technology (Outlook, MS Excel etc.)
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Can adapt to changing priorities and is able to work under pressure
- Has excellent organisational skills including planning and prioritising in order to meet strict deadlines to a high standard
- Is able to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
- Can deal effectively with a range of people at a senior level, both within the University and with external partners

Whilst the University is supporting agile working through a new policy, with optimal attendance on campus between 1-3 days per week, you will be predominantly based at Walsall Campus. Attendance at Wolverhampton Campus maybe required for task based activities. Staff are reimbursed travel expenses for intersite travel.
