Our place slogan is "Where Edinburgh Connects" and the Frontof House Coordinator will bring this to life in the office buildings of Haymarket Square. State of the art facilities have attracted renowned and prestigious tenants, moving into their offices from early next year.
The Front of House coordinator will connect the movers, makers, and shakers by delivering an amazing front of house and reception experience, organising community events, and being the backbone of the communication and contractor coordination. You will alsotake ownership over the digital media channels such as social media and apps, and assist the Facility and Building Management team in all admin tasks.
**What you'll be doing**
- Take ownership of the Front of House guest experience
- Organise community events and engagement groups
- Lead other departments and 3rd parties in a one team approach for front of house
- Ensure content for all digital channels is up to date
- Assist the building management team in all admin tasks
- Greet all visitors promptly and pro-actively
- Be a great first and last impression of the building, this is a high-profile department
- Build trusting relationships with all tenants in the building
- Effective communication with guests in a professional, courteous & friendly manner
- Facilitate smooth and effective communication with all internal departments, ensuring a seamless, unparalleled and incomparable service
- Ensure welcome area is well kept and maintained to a high standard
- Act as a brand ambassador of Haymarket always
- Have a thorough knowledge of the departments and companies operating within the estate including their structure and function in order to gain an understanding of the business as a whole

**Your Background**
To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate a competent background in Front of House & Hospitality, with a focus on customer service. You should enjoy a high proportion of guest interaction.
- Previous experience of working in a 5* customer service environment
- Preference to work with people and build relationships
- Computer literate
- Good oral and written English language
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, personable personality
- Excellent personal presentation
