Overview:
Salterns Marina is looking forward to a very busy boating season again this year, to be able to service our growing number of customers we are looking to expand our customer service by increasing our hands on roles within our Marina.

Our busy Marina has a new vacancy for a Marina Operative to work with our experienced team.

As a Marina Operative for Salterns Marina you will be:
A team player, have a strong work ethic, be professional at all times, you will be reliable and have good timekeeping.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Monitor and inform the Marina office of boat movements.

Operate the Marina and Boatyard hoist, Merlo along with all other Marina machinery as necessary.

Move and assist with the moving of boats around the Marina and swinging moorings.

Operate launch service to swinging moorings.

Maintain pontoons, buildings and car park.

Report any damage or missing equipment on site or any damage to property on site.

You could also be called upon to serve fuel, in addition to other customer facing tasks.

This role is for a 42.5 hour week, 8am - 5pm with half an hour for lunch.

Salary to be discussed at interview, depending on experience and boat driving experience.

**Experience**:

- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Boat handling experience would be an advantage, but full training can be provided.

Pay: £11.42-£15.00 per hour
