As part of the Group’s policy and strategy, the role of the Head of HR will be:

- To contribute to the proper implementation of Group HR policies and matters relating to the following areas:

- Group HR policy
- Career Development & Internal Mobility
- SCOR University & Training
- Reporting
- Compensation & Benefits
- Payroll and Workforce Administration
- Organisation & Talent Acquisition
- Employee Relations
- Diversity, Inclusion, Wellbeing & Engagement
- Communications & HR Networking
- To act as a real Business Partner when implementing the referred policies;
- To oversee the administrative HR functions, while providing advice and assistance to the local Management.

The Head of HR will consequently be a member of the London executive management team and of the HR Leadership team.

**Group HR policy**
- Help the Global HR executive team to develop HR globally within SCOR while taking into account local needs/constraints;
- Assist the London and SA executive teams in their oversight and co-ordination of business activity within their offices;
- Devise and develop local HR policies and procedures to implement SCOR’s business strategy in London, in line with employment legislation and best practice and in conformance with Group policies and procedures.
- Proactively participate with the London Executive Management team and provide inputs on Group and local HR policy. Advise on all people related matters.
- Proactively participate with the EMEA HR Leadership team to determine and implement policies and best practice consistently across the EMEA region.

**Business Partner**
- Act as a full Business Partner by actively contributing to the evolution of the business departments and teams;
- Work with management to understand their business activities, how they develop their teams and where their future needs will be;
- Devise HR strategies and methods to meet those needs and agree implementation plans with the business.

**Career Development & Internal Mobility**
- Maintain an oversight of the development of key and high potential employees by using career management dashboards and by organising regular meetings with management, in order to support and assist SCOR employees as much as possible in their careers;
- Report any critical aspects to and share information with the Hub CEO the Group HR Director and the Global HR Business Partners.

**SCOR University & Training**
- Support the implementation of the Global HR strategy within the London Hub and the identification of training needs;
- Oversee some of the training offered within the London Hub, ensuring full alignment with the SCOR University concept.

**Reporting**
- Provide feedback on specific region-related information (critical issues, new initiatives, etc.) to the Group HR Director;
- Be responsible for the budgeting process, including headcount, HR costs (training, salaries, NI, benefits and associated costs); all budgets to be agreed with the Hub MD and the Group HR Director;
- Attend the Leadership Team meeting in order to share any information or initiatives, employee data and specific issues, and to remain updated on Global HR strategy;
- Provide feedback on the main HR areas by completing and sending required MI and reporting.
- Oversee the production of HR reporting to the Board, Risk Committee, Group Audit

**Compensation & Benefits**
- Contribute to the C&B Group HR policies and ensure that the C&B processes set out by Group HR are properly implemented and coordinated (salary review, bonus, shares, etc.);
- Advise and provide assistance to the managers in order to define the right compensation package in accordance with the function, profile and local market concerned;
- Exchange with Group HR on all C&B issues, including any specific features of the local market;
- Be responsible for employer local HR obligations (taxation, charges, etc.);
- Monitor Group developments in the field of C&B and report any changes/issues to the Group HR Director.

- Monitor development of benefits and offer from the competition to ensure SCOR offer remains attractive

**Payroll & Worforce Administration**
- Advise senior management of changes to legislation and propose new/amended policies;
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment law and other regulatory matters;
- Oversee the management of the London payroll process for all entities, ensuring that it is completed accurately and on time, including payment of Tax & NI and filing of annual returns;
- Be responsible for data accuracy and updates in the HRIS in use in the region : ADP/Oracle; the HRIS must be fully consistent with the payroll;
- Monitor the payroll provider and its systems and periodically review whether or not it remains appropriate and cost effective;
- Establish and maintain an appropriate absence recording system; ensure its correct use by all employees. Report on absence as required by the region and by Group HR.
