**Location**: Bradford, Hybrid working

**Role Purpose**

As a HR Policy and Case Coordinator you will maximise the development of a positive Employee Relations climate by providing excellent administrative and coordination support to the Policy & Case team. You’ll be expected to manage, organise and allocate case work from the Policy & Case inbox to the relevant advisor whilst managing day to day admin duties, providing support to the team when necessary.

In this position, you will manage, organise, and allocate occupational health referrals to the relevant policy & case advisor for inputting into the Cohort system as well as supporting the policy & case advisors with minute taking at both formal and informal meetings.

You’ll be expected to take ownership of organising the Team meeting agenda / location of meeting / minute taking and you’ll gather, collate and analyse data / information and present it coherently in reports and presentation materials where required.

**Essential**
- Ability to create strong collaborative relationships with all colleagues, management and TU representatives
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to influence appropriately with key stakeholders, managers, colleagues, and TU representatives
- Strong written communication skills to support the production of accurate, clear correspondence and reports
- Clearly demonstrates a customer service mindset and YW values and behaviours
- High degree of initiative and self-management
- Experienced in working in a similar HR role / environment
- Understanding of policies and assisting colleagues & managers on following them, ensuring best practise
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of the operation & structure of YW
- Capable of taking ownership of tasks & communicating outcomes with clarity
- A hands-on approach with the ability to proactively handle multiple issues in a high-volume environment

**Desirable**
- Experience in the water industry or similar utility
- CIPD qualified (or working towards)
- Experience of using knowledge and skills in a trade unionised organisation
- Experienced of using knowledge and skills, at all levels within a large company
- Basic project management / presentation skills and experience
- Experience in using SAP and Microsoft office solutions
- Training, delivery, and coaching skills

If successful for the role, you will be required to undergo pre-employment checks that will include a Basic Disclosure Check, carried out through a Third-Party Company, prior to commencing employment. Depending on the role, you may also be required to go through the security vetting process for either a Counter Terrorist Check or Security Check clearance.
