The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

**Position Summary**:
A company representative responsible for the repair, training and technical support of landing gear and hydraulic equipment, in the UK and overseas at the customers facilities, with the ability to work alone or in a team, whilst demonstrating the ability to complete required tasks on

**Main responsibilities**:

- To provide fault diagnosis, trouble shooting, repair, test & maintenance to operators or customers of APPH/Heroux Devtek equipment.
- To provide assistance during fault investigations
- Work within the scope of approval, procedures and mandates issued by APPH/Heroux Devtek quality organisation (Quality, Technical, Safety and Environmental).
- Identify and report airworthiness issues in line with APPH/Heroux Devtek quality system requirements.
- To accomplish assigned tasks and remedial work in a timely fashion.
- To accomplish assigned tasks in line with CAA/FAA/EASA and any other airworthiness regulation.
- To be competent in most disciplines of APPH/Heroux Devtek equipment.
- Ability to perform extensive trouble shooting on your own.
- Assist in the training of team members, customers, and operators, ensuring best practice standards are maintained.
- To ensure the health and safety of self as well as the safety of others whilst working airside.
- To undertake appropriate training required as part of the role.
- Promote the services of APPH/Heroux Devtek.

**Qualifications**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of landing gear and hydraulic assemblies, maintenance, repair and overhaul. Conversant with original equipment design drawings and test schedules, Component Maintenance Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Repair Schemes and Concessions.
- Trained through a recognised apprenticeship preferably within the Aerospace Industry.
- Formal education to HNC/degree level or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer facing role ideally in engineering.
- A valid UK driving licence and Valid Passport
- The ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to communicate in other languages would be advantageous.
- Understanding of Unit Log Cards, updating and endorsement requirements.
- Understanding of Life Limited Parts and practical use of MRB Data.
- Computer literate. Ability to access software on or off site to complete tasks and produce Certificates of Release, Form 1 and Visit Reports.
- Travel anywhere in the world, majority UK and Europe generally for 25-40 weeks a year total with other time based in the UK, Runcorn with limited notice.
- Support Product Support Group and Business Units as required.
