Bar Supervisor

**About The Role**

**Duties and Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Ensuring the smooth running of the bar
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety
- Working within the C&B teams in particular running Bars at weddings and events
- Ensure that all Bar equipment is in good working order
- Ensure the Bar opens and closes on time and is ready to trade
- Assist in the induction of new staff, providing shadowing shifts
- Follow all Till and Cashing up procedures and ensure all staff are following them correctly
- Ensure stock rotation occurs and stock is ‘held’ in the correct manner, recording any wastage
- Attend relevant staff meetings
- Ensure all drinks or food requests are billed correctly.
- To conduct regular inventories of stock, glassware & other supplies and ensure tight control of these itemsGeorgian Elegance - Modern Luxury - A Warm Welcome
- To conduct regular inventories of stock, glassware & other supplies and ensure tight control of these items
- Ensure the department’s maintenance and cleaning schedule is adhered to, ensuring all work surfaces, shelves, floors, walls, sinks, cupboards etc are cleaned to a high standard.
- Adhere to all regulations in respect of health and safety
- Any other duties as directed by the Restaurant & Bar Manager or other member of the management team

**Requirements for the role**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role and/or environment (preferably in a high
- end restaurant within the hotel, leisure or hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
- Accurate and efficient cash-handling skills

**Salary**

€13.70 per hour
