**About The Role**

**Duties and Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Supervise, train, and motivate F&B staff.
- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by interacting with guests, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure guests have a positive dining experience.
- Handle reservations, special requests, and VIP guests.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the restaurant or bar area.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize waste and shrinkage.
- Provide ongoing training to staff on service standards, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.
- Ensure stock rotation occurs and stock is ‘held’ in the correct manner, recording any wastage
- Attend relevant staff meetings
- Ensure all drinks or food requests are billed correctly.
- To conduct regular inventories of stock, glassware & other supplies and ensure tight control of these items
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the team.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions as necessary.
- Ensure the department’s maintenance and cleaning schedule is adhered to, ensuring all work surfaces, shelves, floors, walls, sinks, cupboards etc are cleaned to a high standard.
- Adhere to all regulations in respect of health and safety
- Any other duties as directed by the Restaurant & Bar Manager or other member of the management team

**Required Criteria**
- Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques and menu items.
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost control procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
