**About The Role**

**Duties and Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlets to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage staff, providing guidance, training, and support to uphold service excellence.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in all food and beverage areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline service processes and enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication and execution of food orders, maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing wastage.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to their satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
- Conduct regular inspections of food and beverage outlets to assess service quality, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to plan and execute promotions, special events, and menu enhancements to drive revenue and guest engagement.
- Assist in rostering staff, managing payroll costs, and controlling expenses to meet budgetary targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market competition, and guest preferences, proposing innovative ideas to enhance the hotel's food and beverage offerings.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage department of a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality service and resolving guest issues effectively.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques, menu planning, and wine/beverage selection.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
