We are seeking two passionate and motivated individuals with administrative experience to join our team at Cambridge IVF in a Fertility Administrator position. One position is permanent and the other is a fixed term/secondment for 9 months.

The role is based within Cambridge IVF (CIVF), we are part of CUH but based off-site in Trumpington. CIVF is an assisted conception unit, backed by some of the world's most advanced medical research and offering a unique journey for each family in our care.

You must have excellent communication skills, be adaptable, flexible and innovative. It is essential that you have the ability to work well on your own, but also able to work well within our varied teams within CIVF. You must be highly motivated to deliver excellence in your work and provide exemplary patient care.

Main duties of the job

Being part of a busy administrative team, providing support for the Nursing, Medical and Scientific teams to ensure that the service runs smoothly and efficiently.

Showing compassion to patients who are going highly emotive treatment.

To ensure that results of tests and investigations for patients are received, available to clinical staff, filed in the patients notes and all relevant ongoing arrangements are carried out. In particular to ensure that those, which require immediate action, acted upon by the medical team accordingly.

Working in an efficient and professional manner at all times.

To work in accordance with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) guidelines and confidentiality policy.

Assist the Deputy Operations Manager with the operational performance of the Unit, particularly in relation to the implementation of new and improved services.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria
- Educated to A level or NVQ level 3 Customer Service/Business Admin.Desirable criteria
- Secretarial/Administrative qualification or equivalent.Experience

Experience of working in a busy clerical/office environment or reception service.

Administrative Experience, including minute taking.

Prioritising, planning and organising own tasks.

Working within guidelines.

Data entry experience and documentation.

Experience of IT packages - Microsoft Office.

Previous experience of working in NHS Previous.
