The Independent Living Team is looking to recruit an Occupational Therapy Aide. You will be working within the diverse city of Bristol alongside a team of Occupational therapists, Senior Occupational Therapist, OT apprentices, Occupational Therapy aides and Team manager.

Are you looking for an interesting and varied role supporting people in their own homes? We offer assessment, advice, sign posting, Prescription of equipment, falls prevention, information on benefits supporting Bristol Citizens to engage in occupation to support their wellbeing.

We invite our citizens to feed back to us about our service so that we can continually review and improve our service.

We offer a person centred, strengths first approach, we offer lots of opportunities for collaborative working alongside other health and social care professionals. You will be supported with training and a full induction.

This post is an agile working post, and you will have the opportunity to work from home.

If you have had experience of working with people, have knowledge of equipment, an understanding of a range of health conditions and the impact, plus knowledge of community support options we would like to hear from you.

**For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.**
