**Basic Overview**

To provide support to the Pre-Order Team. Working with “in Field” Business Development Managers conducting outbound calls with potential and new clients (list of clients already determined), initiating sales engagement, identifying opportunities to quote and project tracking through the tender process to close of sale. Keeping a record of calls and relevant details and updating customer details.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Conduct outbound calls to introduce Mansfield Pollard to Consultants and M&E’s
- Conduct outbound calls to existing clients to identify new opportunities.
- Via outbound calls arrange appointments for Business Development Managers to progress offerings of CPD’s and introduction meetings.
- Project tracking of projects through the sales process ensuring Mansfield Pollard are in the best placed position for a successful conclusion.
- Gain market intelligence and report findings back to the Sales Director
- Keeping workbooks CRM system up to date at all times to enable successful and accurate “orders in” forecasting and general business reporting.
- Liaise and provide admin support for “in-field” Business Development Managers to further develop relationships with customers and to provide responsive and effective service.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- Record all enquiries within business software systems
- Adhere to Health and Safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment / personnel.
- Perform additional duties as required which are deemed reasonable requests.

**Experience/ Skills/ Qualifications required**
- Solid sales support experience in a busy office environment.
- Natural flair for sales and the ability to build relationships are important along with the ability to listen, develop and sell solutions.
- Ability to deal with customers at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have great planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently to achieve objectives.
- Highly motivated and driven individual.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Ability to use Microsoft Packages - Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
- Grade A - C in GCSE Maths and English.

**Experience/ Skills/ Qualifications desired**
- Experience in using CRM Systems.
- Customer Services and Sales Courses
- Ability to work flexible hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
