**Chief People Officer / Human Resources Director - FTSE 250 - Remote working (London / Dubai)**

Arnold Ash have been retained to identify and attract an Interim Chief People Officer (CPO) by a market-leading FTSE 250 due to exponential growth. The client manages several thousand international sites via 10’000 employees and Contractors across EMEA witha strong focus in Africa. The Chief People Officer / Human Resources Director will report directly to the CEO and manage 7 direct reports. This is a remote working role based in London / UK or UAE / Dubai (Flexible).

**The Human Resources Director (HRD) / Chief People Officer will have**:

- Senior HR Leadership experience within of FTSE 350 company or similar
- Significant multi market experience including Middle East and in particular Sub Saharan Africa
- Educated to degree level, with post graduate qualifications in HR (such as CIPD)
- French language skills are beneficial (not essential)

**The Human Resources Director (HRD) / Chief People Officer will**:

- Define and implement people strategy
- Sit on the Remuneration Committee in a key role
- Sit on / work directly with Leadership and Board
- Provide Strategic and Regulatory guidance
- Ensure Business Growth is Supported
- Implement strategies to improve efficiencies, functional growth, development and planning
- Build a resilient organisation whilst ensuring Recruitment, Retention, Talent Development ensuring best in class Human Capital
- Ensure organisational and industry leading levels of standards and performance
- Identify, (recruit if necessary) coach, mentor and position, the future successor for the role of Director of Human Resources
- Be responsible for oversight, standardisation (where appropriate) and implementation of all company benefits in all markets
- Oversee engagement with any Unions and be a key negotiator in the developing any collective bargaining agreements.
- Developing and maintaining Group HR policies, localising where necessary and as appropriate
- Have ownership and Autonomy of HR Function including budget holder
