Group Chief Financial Officer

This role as Interim Group Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing a group function, whilst working closely with the Group CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and board.

You will be responsible for:

- Working with the business to redefine the finance function and ensure that it is fit for purpose
- Take a lead role in redeveloping the group financial management processes - to ensure that risks are mitigated
- Work with management to help drive improvement in profitability
- Ensuring robust and strong working capital, and managing relationships with investors and banks (ensuring covenants are met)
- Preparing the business for potential external investment, carve-outs, or M&A - working on strategy in collaboration with the Group CEO (Chief Executive Officer), and board

Your experience shall include:

- You shall be an ACA/ACCA or equivalent Chief Financial Officer
- Strong communication skills are a MUST written and verbal with extensive experience of working at board level
- Business restructuring/transformation experience
- Experience of working within a Multi-Site environment ideally Retail, Consumer Goods, Fashion, Electronics etc
- Corporate Transaction experience - M&A, Disposals, Carve Outs etc
- A true leader with experience of managing and mentoring a team.
- Willing to commit to an interim assignment
