**ABOUT THE POST**

As part of an established Academic Liaison Librarians (ALLs) team you
digital and information skills training, promote and review library
resources, and offer 1-to-1 student sessions and enquiry support. The
roles will not only develop great working relationships between the
Library and the designated departments, but also have lead
responsibility within the ALLs team for a cross-service area of work.

One role will initially be supporting courses within the School of the
Built Environment and Department of Architecture, and this role will
also have a cross-service responsibility for liaising with the Research
& Postgraduate Office, promoting research support library services, and
organising a regular timetable of library skills workshops and events
for researchers in support of the Library Services strategic objectives

The second will initially be supporting the Schools of Social Sciences
and Professions, and Human Sciences. And have a cross service
responsibility for the organisation and promotion of the library skills
workshops programme providing students with a timetable of regularly
offered library events to improve and develop their info literacy and

ABOUT YOU

We're excited to be looking for two proactive, confident, and qualified
librarians to join our expanding team. You'll have experience in
providing teaching, learning, and research support to students and staff
in embedded teaching sessions, 1-to-1s and beyond the classroom.
You're a team player with excellent communication and people skills.
You're someone who thinks creatively and laterally, is passionate about
supporting students and always looks to find innovative solutions to
problems.

You'll be involved in creating and delivering information skills
teaching, as well as project-based work and liaison and service
initiatives that require a sound understanding of a library's pivotal
role in the University's learning community. You'll have an
understanding of emerging digital developments and the implications for
