**Job description**:
Metro Rod South Yorkshire have an exciting new opportunity to recruit an additional Scheduler, to be part of a close-knit team working in Doncaster.

We are a national market leader in providing the highest quality drain care and emergency plumbing services and operate as a UK network of independently owned, regional franchises, co-ordinated via a central support hub.

We are looking for a Scheduler who is passionate about providing the best customer service, self-motivated and driven to contribute to the success of the business.

This position available is to work Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm and will be a full time, permanent contract following 3 months’ probation.

**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for an individual who has a strong desire to meet and exceed targets and customer expectations and go that extra mile to complete tasks successfully.

Someone who is confident in dealing with customers on all levels is key, as well as confidence in liaising with staff and building strong working relationships.

**Duties for this role will include but aren’t limited to**:

- Schedule engineer workload in line with client SLA’s & KPI’s ensuring non-productive time is kept to a minimum.
- Ensure allocations match engineer skills and experience.
- Maximise work attendance volumes.
- Understand client SLA’s including budgets and rates.
- Liaise with client sites and record access arrangements. Escalate access issues or problems.
- Plan & administrate joint visits with other specialist contractors.
- Update client portals and internal systems to provide clarity on all jobs, ensuring opportunities for chaser queries are kept to a minimum.
- Request budget uplifts
- Escalate work-in-progress/engineer issues to the managers when required.
- Develop a good working relationship with engineers, provide effective communication.
- Manage engineer holidays to always ensure adequate cover. Report absence/holidays to the managers.
- Log jobs in the Works Management System accurately and in a timely manner.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Have some previous scheduling/planning experience.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
