Adam Sidford Gardens are recruiting for an Assistant Gardener (16 hours/two days a week).

**About Us**

Passion for gardens and the great outdoors is in our DNA. Our founder, Adam Sidford, is from a family proud of it’s gardening and farming heritage. The family history can be traced back to Bridzor Farm in Wiltshire, where the surrounding landscape and gardens were always at the heart of the Sidford’s way of life.

What makes Adam Sidford Gardens unique is the ability to cover all garden requirements, from start to finish. This may start with a complete garden overhaul, complete with a new design and landscaping. Followed by ongoing garden maintenance.

**The Role**

General tasks for this role include:

- Shrub pruning
- Hedge cutting
- Flower bed weeding
- Grass cutting
- Planting
- Assisting the landscaping team
- One year's experience in gardening
- Some knowledge of common shrubs and flowers
- Ability to identify weeds in perennial flower beds
- Proficient in using garden machinery (lawn mower, hedge cutter and strimmer)
- Confident working on a ladder
- Willing to attend CPD courses
- Ability to commute to Fordingbridge

In return we offer £11-13 per hour depending on experience.
