Here at HDM Solar, we’re going through a period of exciting growth and we’re looking for an Ecommerce Product Content Executive to help improve our online data accuracy and quality.

Working within the Ecommerce team, you’ll be responsible for establishing and executing principles for the product range across the website portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce and working closely with stakeholders across the marketing and sales function, you’ll improve our digital product presentation, content and tools, whilst utilising data to test and continuously improve the customer experience and affect conversion and revenue KPI’s.

This position is Monday - Friday - 7:00am - 4:00pm with an hour for lunch, based at our Hull (HU4 6PA) office (40 hrs per week).

**The successful applicant will possess**:

- You’ll be driven by results, and have a good understanding of the importance of product content with regard search visibility, UX and conversion rate optimisation, with a solid grasp of the principles of ecommerce and an appreciation of techniques used to drive revenue.
- You’ll be a self-starter, have a great attention to detail, highly organised with the ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently and deliver to deadlines.
- You’ll understand the importance of seeking and using data to make better decisions, and will be able to use insights to make decisions and gain by in from stakeholders.
- Ideally you will have proven hands-on experience of product data management, content creation and curation. An interest and understanding of how large language models, machine learning and AI could be used to enhance digital customer experiences, especially in online merchandising, would be highly desirable.

**Salary**:

**Overall Aim**:
To fulfil the Key Objectives below and other activities as agreed from time to time.

**Key Objectives**:
The role is varied with multiple responsibilities which include:

- You’ll establish best practice merchandising principles, content and KPIs for renewable energy products. Working closely with key stakeholders you’ll help improve processes to ensure these best practices are consistently adopted across the product catalogues, identifying gaps, and delivering plans to address any issues.
- You’ll identify opportunities to improve online merchandising to drive revenue including: search, filters, listing pages, cross-sell and up-sell locations and logic
- With a goal of improving the customer experience and driving KPI’s, you’ll plan and implement product launch plans - reviewing performance, reporting back on key findings and utilising these findings to optimise product content principles and presentation.
- You’ll work closely with the Ecommerce team to shape and influence the website development roadmap, improving merchandising capability and execution whilst regularly reviewing competitors and out-of-sector best practice to ensure we deliver a sector leading proposition.
