Medical Workforce Advisor

We are recruiting for Medical Workforce Advisors to provide outstanding support to the Medical and Dental workforce. These consist of one full time post of 37.5 hours per week and one part time post of 22.5 hours.
The roles are based within the Medical Workforce team to ensure a proactive, high quality and efficient support for all aspects of the medical workforce and providing specialist advice on a wide range of queries.
Working independently, but within a supportive team environment, the role is varied and busy. You will work to tight timescales with competing deadlines so an ability to work under pressure and prioritise a demanding workload is essential. You will liaise with medical staff at all levels, other senior staff and external bodies, so good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Medical staffing/medical education or previous HR experience in a related role is required.

The Medical Workforce Team consists of a Medical Workforce Lead, 1 x Band 7 Medical Workforce Manager, 1 x Band 6 Deputy Medical Workforce Manager, 4 x Band 5 Medical Workforce Advisers, 2 x Medical Workforce Coordinators, 1 x Band 4 Revalidation and Appraisal Coordinator and 1 x Band 3 Revalidation and Appraisal Administrator.
You will work within the Medical Workforce team to ensure a proactive, high quality and efficient support to the Trust’s medical and dental workforce.
This will involve co-ordinating key administration processes for all aspects of medical workforce and providing specialist advice on a wide range of day-to-day medical workforce queries for a specific division as well as providing the day-to-day advice on the sub-specialty areas designated to that work stream and day to day advice on medical workforce related policies.
You will deliver a high quality and effective workforce planning to a number of business units and departments, ensuring that quality standards are maintained.
You will also deliver rota templates (not including consultants) which maximise the available resource and are compliant with Working Time Regulations (WTR), contractual requirements and local Trust rules. The post holder will also support the medical workforce aspect administration of job planning for doctors.
