Working closely with the HR Advisers, the HR Specialist will suggest and implement process improvements around the day to day tasks to benefit our customer outcomes.

Key Work Level Accountabilities:
Experienced Colleague:

- Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training
- For team leaders, are accountable for ensuring the team the role supports is delivering a quality service or product
- Works within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems
- Delivers outputs that are clearly defined, using discretion over how to achieve them
- Makes suggestions for improvements to the work of the team, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations

Key Responsibilities for this role:

- To manage and support the HR Services element of HR Project activity (other than BAU Projects)
- To work on evolution of HR Services model with a strong lens on customer focus and efficiencies
- To support on HR Service support required on International improvements & expansion into new areas
- To support on and Transformation and other related HR Projects
- To support on Audit Activity & review of current controls & Quality Assurance for HR Services activity.
- Sound knowledge of key processes within the HR Operations team and ability to provide cover at peak times whilst remaining compliant within policy, legislation, regulatory guidelines and risk appetite
- Monitoring of HR enquiries and operational transactions ensuring accurate completion to the M&G business within agreed service levels
- Provision of HR related guidance to the business
- Development and co-ordination of team training plans and licencing and providing ongoing support to team member on complex enquiries
- Responsible for the completion and ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of key process level controls and recommending enhancements where necessary in line with Operational Risk framework
- Supporting Regulatory activity within the team and supporting on Audit activity where necessary
- Supporting/Leading on key BAU and Project activity, including supporting other HR Operations Teams, i.e. testing and uploading People Hub content.
- Use available resources and insight to enhance service and/or streamline processes
- Full understanding of HR Systems, i.e. Workday, People Hub and how all the teams across HR work together / collaborate, including 3rd party suppliers
- Establish meaning and collaborative relationships with key Business stakeholders- International project support
- Transformation Project Support
- Customer Queries on project related activity

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Excellent experience of HR administration
- Excellent knowledge of Workday and Service Now
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Experience of managing a range of tasks and responsibilities within an HR environment
- A strong customer focus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Drive to continually learn and develop
- Excellent coaching skills
- CIPD desirable
