We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our procurement team and contribute to our ongoing success.

**Job Summary**

As a Junior Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting our procurement activities. You will be responsible for assisting with purchasing materials, equipment, and services necessary for our engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start their career in procurement and supply chain management within a dynamic engineering environment.

Assist in the procurement of materials, components, and services required for engineering projects.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods services.

Support the preparation and issuance of purchase orders.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate
stock levels.

Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand project requirements and timelines.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.

Help resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delivery delays or quality concerns.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook.

Note: This job description outlines primary duties but may not encompass all responsibilities. The Junior Buyer may be assigned additional tasks as needed to support the business.

This is an office based position.

Hours 8.00am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Holiday Entitlement: 20 days plus Bank Holidays, rising to 25.

Pay: £18,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
