We are supporting a company based in Chelmsford with finding their next Junior Buyer The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm with a salary of £27K - £35K depending on your experience. Duties will include:

- Continuously review and improve processes for the procurement and purchasing side of the business
- Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials
- Perform supplier evaluation and audits
- Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them to gain the best price, quality, quantities, and delivery times possible
- Working closely with suppliers to solve supply chain issues
- Collecting and analysing sales data to help forecast purchasing trends
- Management of documents such as supplier service level agreements
- Processing purchase requisition requests and updating management on the status of orders
- Updating inventory in Sage 200 and managing stock levels
- Analyse all supplier invoices to ensure they are correct and match the goods supplied
- Regularly liaise with Accounts team to ensure all suppliers are paid in time and in full
- Adhoc administrative support duties when required

This is a busy and varied role, for the right person this will be a welcomed challenge. Ideally you will have experience working with Sage 100 or a comparable ERO software and good knowledge of MS Office. You must be comfortable working under pressure, meeting strict deadlines and managing multiple tasks at once.
