We are looking for a Head of Property Services to join our passionate team and lead the way in delivering exceptional repairs and maintenance solutions. This role involves ensuring seamless collaboration between our in-house repairs team and subcontractor partners to provide a market leading, customer-centric and commercially competitive service. It is imperative that you are dedicated to ensuring our customers have great places to live, reflecting our core belief that 'It starts with the home'.

**What you will be doing**

In your new role you will be responsible for leading and continuously improving the in-house repairs team to excel in health and safety, customer experience, colleague engagement, and cost-effectiveness. Through inspirational leadership, you will foster a culture of service excellence and ongoing development aligned with Great Places' vision and values, ensuring the maintenance of high-quality homes and services.

You will work closely with the Director of Repairs and Facilities Management to develop and execute the repairs strategy, ensuring innovation and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you'll cultivate relationships with senior management, focusing on customer satisfaction and competitive service delivery, while actively engaging in industry initiatives for continuous improvement.

In addition, you will ensure cost-effective service delivery while upholding product quality through strong budgetary management. Moreover, you'll ensure that the service is appropriately resourced and managed.

We offer a competitive salary based on a 35 hour week, starting with 26 days annual leave increasing up to 30 days within 5 years, plus bank holidays

**What will you need?**
- A proven track record of leadership. You will be passionate about adopting a ‘one team approach’ and be able to demonstrate your ability to adapt your leadership style to diverse situations and challenges, while consistently delivering positive outcomes and driving organisational growth.
- Customer focused, ensuring we deliver the very best for our customers in terms of service delivery and product quality.
- Excellent repairs management skills with a solution focused approach The service is continuously evolving and you will be an important part of moving this forward. You will be juggling competing priorities and so you must be comfortable delegating workloads and creating a defined direction for your team and getting the best out of them.
- Strong report writing, data analysis, presentation, and communication skills is essential. You will be comfortable articulating complex ideas and data through comprehensive written reports, effectively conveying information to various stakeholders.
- Be adaptable and responsive, embracing a flexible schedule that may include working outside traditional hours, including weekends, bank holidays and on-call rotations, to uphold exceptional customer service and ensure seamless business operations.
