Part-time General Office Assistant

We’re searching for a** Part-Time General Office Assistant in Bristol **to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators on a **6-month Fixed Term Contract.**
In this role,you will be a ccountable for the administration, Health and Safety and Building Maintenance of the Bristol Office. You will also oversee and deliver edyn’s Cultural Activation Programme of live events in the Bristol Office
**A role less ordinary.**
- Responsible for coordinating all aspects of daily office operations, including coordinating office space for staff, meeting rooms, tea & coffee making facilities, ordering supplies, stationary, maintaining equipment, post in/out and couriers.
- Representing the edyn brand with 3rd parties and external guests of edyn who attend the office for meetings with colleagues from time to time.
- Liaising with the Office cleaning and maintenance providers to ensure that SLAs are achieved
- Ensure edyn Embassy House is presented to a high design standard and resolve any issues if necessary (including meeting room being maintained to a high standard during the working day)
- Oversee the administration of the office access system, ensuring new starters and leavers have access
- Co-ordinate and blead on regular events and activities for the Bristol Office
- Working closely with edyn’s Community Manager and internal committees to curate a cultural programme of events and activities that are in keeping with edyn’s ethos and focus. Pulling on existing contacts across the edyn estate where possible
- Take responsibility of Health and Safety and Risk Assessments for the office, working with Central Facilities Manager to maintain a high audit pass rate
- Ensure that the office is a safe place to work at all times, taking day to day responsibility for health & safety compliance and ensuring annual checks are completed. Collating desk risk assessments, arranging First Aid and Fire Marshall Training to ensure we have appropriate daily coverage
**Who you are.**
- Educated to A Level/NVQ 2 level
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- An eye for design and a passion for events and building community spirit
- Great customer service skills - working both internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication Experience
- Office Co-ordination/administration and PA experience essential
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Based at Embassy House, Bristol with travel to the London office from time to time. You will also have the flexibility to travel to other offices and properties sites as and when required by the business
