London, United Kingdom South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust Full time

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust are seeking to recruit a full time enthusiastic and skilled Band 7 Clinicians (Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, Nurse, Family Therapist) to join the CYP - Community Eating Disorders Service. The postholders will play key roles in an exciting new addition to our service: an Integrated Eating Disorder Outreach Team.

The CYP-Community Eating Disorders Service provides an outpatient service to the five boroughs served by SWLSTG. The service has close links with the in-patient specialist eating disorders unit (Wisteria Ward) on site, outpatient consultant paediatric care provided on site as part of the MDT, and brief inpatient paediatric care at nearby St George's Hospital.

The growing specialist multi-disciplinary team is made up of psychiatrists, nurses, systemic psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, a consultant paediatrician and a dietician. The service also hosts students from nursing, undergraduate psychology courses, trainee clinical psychologists, and medical trainees, fostering a welcoming culture with a focus on learning and development within the service. Team working is held at the core of the service with a range of processes to ensure individual clinicians feel supported in their work, including weekly team meetings and case discussion, fortnightly systemic case consultation, and the opportunity for joint working with more complex cases.
