Head of Business Development, Banking Industry

A progressive law firm is looking for a committed Head of Business Development with a high level of expertise in the Banking industry to join their global Business Development team based in London.
This is not a traditional law firm business development role and represents a great opportunity for the successful applicant to sit with the firm's partners and use their deep insight into the key issues and themes facing the Banking industry to devise asuccessful go to market strategy. It is a brand new role, a blank sheet of paper that you will be able to really shape. It is both market and client facing and comes with responsibility for developing and executing client insights-led strategies for the firm'spriority bank clients across EMEA and US. Working hand in hand with Client Relationship Managers, you will report on BD budgets, managing large amounts of data and intelligence for the Banking industry, and focus on how to target a larger number of bankingclients with key messages. The Head of Business Development will enjoy a varied and challenging role including go-to-market pursuits and Bank industry growth initiatives. The role holder will also have coaching responsibility to support the development ofthe Bank Client Relationship Managers and to drive greater collaboration and community across the Bank Client Relationship Partners and Banks Industry.
