**Job Role**

**On -site General Restorer**

**Job Role**:To clean and restore household items that have been damaged, usually be fire or flood in domestic properties on a nationwide basis.

**Job Purpose**:
Common tasks include; Cleaning of hard contents such as furniture, carpets, upholstery and appliances. This involves working on site cleaning walls, ceilings and floors as well as contents and appliances. Loading and unloading of equipment to be used in the process

The role plays a vital part in the successful completion of restoration works. Restorers work as part of a team however will also need to work independently in order to meet deadlines.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Ensure excellent customer service skills are used when communicating with Customers/Clients
- Ensure that safety processes COSHH/Manual handling are stringently adhered to at all times by both yourself and others
- Ensure the health and safety and welfare of yourself and those around you
- Keep your own work area clean and tidy
- Cleaning of soft contents
- Cleaning of hard contents
- Determining whether all damage has been removed once cleaned
- Notifying management when supplies are running low

**Targets**:
To complete all jobs in line with deadlines set out by management.

Full training will be given in all aspects of the role, no previous experience is necessary although it would be advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
