**P URPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
To maintain and install a range of telecare equipment in any property within the London Borough of Hounslow with due consideration for health and safety of both the Alarm Installer and the client. During installation the Linkline+ Officer will instruct clientson how to use the equipment to summon assistance from the Linkline Service, explain any additional peripherals and their functions and carry out all necessary administration work, referrals in support of their role or to assist the client. Maintain stock andaudits of equipment within the service.
- Work effectively as part of the Resident Services team, delivering corporate objectives through the work of the department.
- Demonstrate and ensure high standards and probity with client policy.
- Form robust and effective working relationships with stakeholders across the borough and in partnerorganisations.
- Work corporately and in line with overall client objectives to enable the breaking down of departmental barriers and the delivery of the client improvement agenda
- To oppose and where possible eradicate all forms of discrimination, making a positive contribution to managing diversity, both as an employer and service provider
- To promote a philosophy of putting customer needs first at every opportunity and to put in place management arrangements to action this.
- To work with stakeholders, residents and the voluntary sector in improving service delivery and promoting creative and innovative ways of tackling local problems ensuring services are developed which meet the needs of our ethnically diverse community andare accessible to all users.
- To ensure all Health and Safety standards are met in line with policy.

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience in a Telecare setting
- Knowledge and understanding of the relevant Telecare Standards Association Code Of Practice
- Understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety
- Knowledge of risk assessing clients in their homes and installing Telecare equipment
- Experience of using IT programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel & Jontek
