**FESTIVE RETAIL ASSISTANT | £10.58 per hour**

**Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2023.**

We are looking for a team of Festive Retail Assistants, who love the spirit of Christmas and will help deliver the magic to our guests.

Based in our Christmas shop, you will be required have a high energy approach. Your duties will include welcoming guests in a positive and friendly manner, operating a till, replenishing stock, maintaining a clean working environment and spreading festive cheer.

**HOURS OF WORK**

**Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2023.**

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have a confident, kind and happy nature, along with plenty of enthusiasm. You will be confident taking ownership of guest queries or issues, ensuring that they are served in a friendly and efficient manner. You will also be able to engage with and build a rapport with people of all ages.

**Essential requirements**:

- Excellent communication and customer care skills
- Naturally cheerful
- Ability to perform under pressure

**Desirable requirements**:

- Previous experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally within a retail environment
- NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or equivalent qualification
