**Position Description**:
In addition to working within the General Manager they will be given the opportunity to attend regular management meetings and gain experience in other departments helping other managers support their teams.

Excellent organisational, inter-personal, planning and prioritising abilities are vital and an understanding of golf will be essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plans, promotes and directs all golf activities including daily management responsibilities.
- Interprets and enforces club policies, rules and regulations.
- Attends all staff and management meetings.
- Interacts with the club catering franchise about food and beverage needs for events.
- Maintains visible presence at the Club during peak times of play.
- Provides golf-related information to all members.
- Assists with development of standard operating procedures
- Maintains membership log and participates in billing and generating new membership opportunities.
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the General Manager.

**Administrative**:

- Maintain the Club’s website and use of social media platforms, including the monitoring of ads and insights
- Manage the Club’s membership system, including maintaining the member database and updating as and when required
- In support of the General Manager, create and maintain reporting tools for trend analysis across all club functions
- Assist in the planning and running of Club events (Prize Giving; Open Week; Club Board meetings; AGM/EGM etc)
- Manage and review administrative files
- Assist the General Manager and club board members in the production and delivery of regular facility and operational audits
- To be an integral part of the member and visitor journey within the “DGC Experience”
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager, or with the Manager’s approval, or members of the Club Board

**Essential Skills**
- Experience of marketing, business development and growing revenue streams.
- Leadership, good interpersonal and people management skills with a ‘hands on’ & ‘can do’ attitude.
- Thrive on delivering a great customer experience.
- High level of IT literacy and communication skills, including all social media. The Club uses Zero and Intelligent Golf.
- Sound financial and commercial acumen.
- Working knowledge of employment law, licensing law, health & safety legislation and risk management.
- An appreciation of golf and the traditions/expectations of a members’ club.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the position.
- Good communicator - verbal and written.

**Additional**:

- To work closely with other department heads and their teams to deliver the “DGC Experience”
- To perform additional duties as identified by the General Manager and Board in line with reasonable expectations associated with the role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
