Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant

Our client based in Lincoln is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant to join them on a full time permanent basis working 36.25 hours per week Monday to Friday.
As Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant, you will assist with a portfolio of clients accounts, carrying out bookkeeping duties including cash accounting, bank reconciliation, processing weekly & monthly client payrolls, purchase ledger, sales ledger, resolvingqueries and discussing VAT & payroll liabilities with clients, preparation and submission of VAT returns and much more.
To be considered for the role of Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant, you will have previous bookkeeping & payroll experience working within an accountancy practice environment and will be AAT qualified or have the equivalent level of experience. You will havestrong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
