**Activities Coordinator.**

We are looking for an Activities Coordinator with a passion for delivering excellent care to develop, plan, implement activities for our residents. As an Activities Coordinator you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. You will help to devise imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability.

An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents before you create tailored activities programmed focused on maximizing everyone's wellbeing, independence, and social engagement as well as monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the activities. You will also share information effectively and concisely in routine situations.

It’s a permanent position for up to 30 hours per week. Working hours are flexible throughout the week.

**Job role.**

To organize and coordinate activities that are tailored to the needs and abilities of individuals, as well as group activities that will bring individuals together.

Booking external suppliers to provide entertainment

Organizing trips out in the local community, considering transport arrangements and accessibility.

Plan varied and stimulating activity programmed to enhance the quality of care and Support provided to our residents.

Maintain written records of client’s participation and regularly review their needs.

Participate in fundraising events as required.

Attend and participate in staff meetings when required.

Communicate effectively with other staff, relatives, and visitors including professional agencies.

Practice and promote safe working practices within the service.

ABOUT YOU

You'll need to be warm, empathetic, and creative to join us as an Activities Coordinator. Your organisational skills and driven mind-set mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential - especially because we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
