Waking Night Support/care Worker

Job Overview:
We are looking for dedicated waking night support workers, to be part of a team offering a comprehensive residential service to adults who have a diagnosed learning disability. The aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional well-being of the residents, and assist in their positive holistic development, we require passionate and driven people who want to make a significant difference to the lives of vulnerable adults, supporting them with independence, being able to follow their support plans and behaviour support plans consistently and being able to develop a strong bond and trusting relationship.
Flexibility is key as we are a busy home and run it to the needs of the young people, we are open 24 hours a day 365 days a year, Nights shifts are 8pm-8am and 8pm-10am Monday - Sunday on a rolling rota
NVQ level 3 in health and social care or care certificate is essential or the willingness to complete these

- 14 hour shift

We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. The role involves assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the well-being of our service users.
**Duties**:
- Implement and review individual care plans based on service users' needs
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, changing and feeding
- Support service users with medication administration as required
- Assist service users with household tasks and meal preparation
- Accompany service users to appointments or outings
- Ensure that the home is kept clean and follow cleaning schedules
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
**Skills**:
- Experience in home care or care home settings
- Proficient in English to communicate effectively with service users and colleagues
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with service users
