**The Company**

Nurse Seekers are excited to be recruiting Residential Care Home Manager for a fantastic care provider who are growing, successful residential care group.

Our client is committed to ensuring that all of their residents are treated with care and dignity as they believe every day is a new opportunity to encourage and be there when it matters.

With this in mind, they are looking for a Registered Manager to work in the Newton Abbott area.

**The Role**

As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day running of all aspects of the home, which includes managing budgets, management and coordination of an inclusive, ethical service with kindness and compassion. Promote thewell-being, safety and security of the residents by providing safe effective and high-quality tailored care to meet the care home’s statement of purpose.
- Desirable Skills:_
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with the ability to communicate with a range of people using a variety of communication methods
- Excellent written skills for writing reports
- Ability to effectively risk assess and develop practices to manage those risks
- A passion for working with people and providing person-centred care
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate others
- The capacity to work under pressure and to take a problem-solving approach to work
- Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise own and others’ workload
- Numerical skills for managing budgets
- An understanding of accountability to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
