**Job Title: Junior Quality Advisor**

**Reporting to: Quality Manager**

**Business Unit: Major Projects South (MPS)**

**Role purpose**

The Omexom Major Projects South (MPS) Junior Quality Advisor will be required to work within the MPS Business Unit, but also play supporting role within the Omexom UK & RoI organisational success. Ensuring our quality commitments to our customers are delivered on time and to the required International Standards, ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & 45001:2018 and associated MPS, OTW JV & Group Quality Policies and Procedures.

Reporting to the MPS Quality Manger, the Junior Quality Advisor will include but not limited to the following Responsibilities & Duties.

**Responsibilities & Duties**

Including but not limited to the following:

- Support BU with an upstream focus on Quality Controls with the nominated Supply Chain Function (Equipment & Subcontractors)
- Support BU and adopt Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) by supporting and ensuring key quality milestones are delivered on time and the required standard first time eg Post Contract Award Project Plans aligned to Project Programme
- Support, the use of Electronic Document Management Systems across MPS and the wider Omexom Business Units eg Aconex, Aconex Field, Ermeo
- Support PM & QA Manager and input lessons learnt/Cost of Poor Quality impacts from Non-Conformances within the MPS Business Unit
- Promote the use of robust Document Control
- Post Auditor Training, (if no formal Certification) perform Internal routine Surveillance/Audits Inspections(External in due course-where applicable) Support & issue formal Omexom audit reports, check and test areas of previous non-compliance
- Responsibility to manage MPS Master Document Register / OTW Information Access Platform / Integrated Management System. Facilitate uploads of new documents and Revisions and cascading down notification of updated Processes and documentations.
- Support robust review of processes are in place for all Business Unit Operational Processes and help interested parties to roadmap improved processes relevant to MPS and our Clients.
- Support the Project & Site Managers with Project Site Mobilisation Process and throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting the development and implementing quality standards, process & procedures, focus on continuous improvement
- Support and monitor Omexom quality performance, consider best use of Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Liaise with the Project Managers to ensure adequate quality assurance and control measures are in place prior to project mobilisation
- Participate in the weekly NG SR163 / monthly site coordination and any other necessary meetings with key stakeholders as requested.
- Support quality inductions for new Business Unit Employees.

**Person Specification**

**A training and development Plan will be generated aligned to business commitments and the individuals experience and qualifications.**
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Knowledge and experience in the development of project specific quality documentation ideally within the Engineering Procurement and Construction environment
- Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
- Must have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including the ability to analyse quality performance, and ensure we continue to drive continuous improvement
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail, use analytical thinking skills
- Support monitoring of project quality performance
- Business Management skills
- Willing to develop presentation skills for future quality training opportunities
- The ability to use your own judgement and make informed decisions.

**Competencies**

**Required skills, knowledge, and abilities**:

- Must have a computing skills using various Microsoft tools.
- Good communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
