North Yorkshire Council is a rapidly changing

Service (ESS) is a responsive, solution-focussed service which provides a host
of services including payroll admin for both schools and directorate services,
occupational health, DBS, Local Government Pension and external partner
organisations to approximately 42,000 customers.

**Business Support Administrator - Directorate Team (DBS)**

You will be responsible for advising on the DBS policy to NYC
counter signatory in line with DBS National guidelines. As part of the
are submitted and the information being submitted is accurate, the matching
process requires excellent attention to detail.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is looking to
gain experience working in a large office environment dealing with complex
deadlines and be able to organise their own workload. A further requirement is
excellent communication skills so experience in a call centre or payroll environment
would be advantageous. Confidence and resilience are important attributes for
applicants as there are conflicting demands and priorities in this busy
service.
