**Salary: £56,560 to £60,714 plus a Location allowance of £1,639. You will receive £56,560 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £60,714 will be via incremental progression.**
**Location**:Empress State Building**
**Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) evolves all the time in order to stay one step ahead of threats to our country. In providing the relevant and secure technology infrastructure it needs to support its mission, you will directly help CTP be the best it can be.**
This is your opportunity to become the central point of contact for all infrastructure designs for CTP,across all security tiers. Providing technical design and support expertise, you’ll be vital to making sure that the National infrastructure is built, designed and architected to be secure and efficient in use.
We will look to you to document current and future infrastructure designs, and work with projects and Solution architects on a range of ICT projects to ensure that they are aligned to the Strategic vision. In addition, you’ll develop Strategies in the infrastructure space and align these with the relevant Application and network/Security leads. The role will see you work across different environments and, as such, demands a flexible approach.
It will also draw on your extensive knowledge of premise and cloud infrastructures, and your understanding of security classifications and the relevant protections that can be applied to infrastructure. Naturally, you’ll have a wealth of experience in document and design standards for infrastructure and with working with projects to make sure they’re in alignment. As well as this, you’ll have a recent background in network server designs within a secure environment.
You may need to travel to sites around the UK on occasion, so you should hold a valid UK driving licence.
It’s an excellent opportunity to consolidate your skills and experience in an area that’s crucial to national security. In return, you can look forward to benefits including substantial annual leave, Civil Service pension arrangements, interest free season ticket loans, flexible working conditions and more.
