**What youll do**: This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of Patient Pathway Coordinators within the Cardiovascular & Thoracic care group. The team is a valuable part of the patients journey and this is a high-volume admin service, covering wide geographical areas. We currently have several vacancies for Patient Pathway Coordinators in the Cardiovascular and Thoracic teams, working full time or part time hours (Monday-Friday) within core hours (between 8am and 5pm). You will be working closely with your team of consultants to provide a comprehensive administration service which will involve: Working closely with the clinical teams and co-ordinating the patient pathways from referral onwards.

Managing the administration for the service as well as provide secretarial cover to Consultants. Supporting the wider team by typing letters, dealing with queries from patients and other care providers. Managing your own workload on a day-to-day basis but will also working as part of the wider team. The roles are interesting and varied, giving you the opportunity to develop relationships with patients and helping to oversee their treatment and care.

**What were looking for**: We are looking for someone with a flexible approach with the ability to manage a demanding workload with changing priorities. Confidentiality and a willingness to learn is essential. You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way but be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions. You must be confident, diplomatic and able to work in a busy environment with a pleasant disposition.

**Were also looking for you to demonstrate**: High level of organisation with attention to detail. Ability to communicate over the telephone and in person. Use of IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite. The ability to work independently, seeking guidance where necessary.
