The role

We’re serious about copy that sells, compels - and for this role especially, we aspire to create first-class SEO content that inspires, excites and provides high value to our target audiences. It means always writing with our customer in mind and ensuring our unique Dojo tone of voice shines through each piece of copy we create.

You’ll optimise content by seamlessly embedding keywords into a coherent piece of content based on the provided keyword research. To keep that bar high, we need a brilliant SEO content writer who can keep the momentum going with innovative ideas to improve our digital copy.

Reporting into our Copy Manager, you’ll work side-by-side performance marketing, specifically with our SEO and CRO managers, to create SEO content across our website based on briefs. Working closely with our top-notch design team, you’ll also bring your SEO understanding and knowledge to the table and turn complex product propositions into engaging copy that resonates with our target audience (B2B and B2C) and clearly communicates the value of Dojo.

What you’ll do- Work with our SEO team to create compelling long form SEO-optimised-content and landing pages, often from briefs, that aim to increase visibility and our organic search rankings- Take an SEO content brief and proactively research the topic that the brief covers, including reviewing competitors and pulling out relevant learnings- Weave the needed keywords seamlessly into the content so that the piece feels organic, not keyword stuffed- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, data, design and SEO- Translate technical and complex information into simple but powerful messages that live on the Dojo website, ensuring your content is optimised for SEO and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)- Work with our incredible customer insights team to inform and iterate your content to be truly customer-first

What you’ll bring- Proven experience in digital copywriting- Strong understanding of best practices when it comes to writing for the web, SEO and conversion rate optimisation- In-depth understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and experience working with SEO teams to implement SEO-led content strategies- An understanding of site and page performance metrics, especially for long form content and landing pages- A portfolio showing your biggest successes in the digital space- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise and engaging copy that resonates with our target audience- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and be a positive team player- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously- A fresh thinker willing to help innovate Dojo’s web and digital space- Experience using a CMS to build website pages; experience with StoryBlok and Umbraco are a plus- Experience with Notion and Figma is a plus
